What Does It Mean to Truly Live in the Now?
True well-being is when our thoughts, body, and heart can flow simultaneously and in the same direction. When this flow begins, inner peace naturally emerges.
We are all in the moment at times: when we're admiring a landscape, loving someone, or captivated by music. In those moments, we simply exist. We don't think, we don't analyze; there's no past or future. There's only the present. And within those moments, a sense of peace, love, or meaning arises spontaneously.
Living in the "now" isn't actually a mental technique; it's a natural state of being. Our bodies, even our brains, live in the moment. However, the mind often misses the present moment because it's preoccupied with the past and planning for the future.
However, when we allow the mind to rest in accordance with its nature, instead of forcing it, this natural state—being in the now—comes naturally.
